OSAA responds to the idea of a state 4x800

Brad Garrett, Assistant Executive Director of the OSAA, sent a helpful email explaining the process that might be followed to introduce a new event to the state track and field meet.  To summarize:

• "Plant the seed and watch it grow."
• Get reaction and a vote from coaches around the state.  This will involve bringing a proposal to the Oregon Coaches Athletic Association and receiving this group's Executive Board approval.
• Submit the proposal to the OSAA Executive Board or through the OSAA Championship Committee.  OSAA approval is unlikely without the backing of coaches.
